New iMacs and iPods announced
Apple has finally released the long speculated (and correspondingly derided by Steve Jobs) iPods that play video as well as music.
Also announced was revised iMacs designed for a role in the living room, complete with a remote control to deal with music, videos, DVDs and other items stored on the computer

Apple's first 2 button mouse announced
Apple has released a new mouse this week, their first multibutton version. Still looking like the single button mice that currently ship with Macs, this one has concealed left and right buttons, as well as a 360° scroll wheel, and other tricks.
According to reports, the main mouse (i.e. ignoring the side buttons) is still a single click mouse, but a sensor under the left side detects whether you had your finger down on that side and if not, assumes you wanted a right click.

Steve Jobs announces switch to Intel
Today Steve Jobs confirmed that future Macs will be based on Intel x86 chips. These are the same chips that power the majority of Window PCs.
The first "Intel Inside" Macs will roll out in about a year's time, with the high end Mac following by the end of 2007.

Tiger (Mac OS X 10.4) released
Coming in a couple of months ahead of schedule, Tiger is currently in stock so let us know if you would like a copy.
We are currently offering a trade-in value on older retail versions of the OS that you may have purchased. You will need to have the original disks and accompanying legal-ese. These will be available to users who would like to upgrade to OS X, but don't require the latest version.
